Is your data backup carefully prepared for a fire?
You probably already know the importance of backup and even encrypt sensitive data. And while the data is losing badly, it can be with your sensitive personal data in the hands of a thief or worse.

So now you are keeping your data safe and keep up regular backups in a safe place, right?
And your site is safe ... in your house? Which is the same safe place to keep yourComputers?
What happens to all backups and the computer, if your house burns down? Or no flood damage? Or a mudslide buries them in the goo? Or an earthquake levels right?
We do not want to think about these scenarios, but it is important that we do.
The bottom line is simply thinking about such situations, only the certainty that isn 't enough. Backup copies should be stored somewhere - in a physical location different from thatComputer. If the worst case, you still have the backup data safely.
Protected from somewhere else, that is.
It should not be difficult. For example, you can only burn an extra backup CDs every now and give a friend or family member.
As another example, perhaps, say that your spouse runs a business where you get to keep computer systems. Consider using two identical USB external drives, so the computer at home or the business of eachone. Every night, each machine typically uses his external hard drive. Then every so often just swap the external drives - get to work at home, and take one further back in the workhouse. In this way not only your home for off-site data backup (the company), but the business data is backed up offsite (at home!)
With online backup services, in addition to your routine in-house backup can be an alternative to possibly further limited amounts of data. InIn addition to being available after a disaster, these are often practical ways, the backup files from any location, access, although there is no problem.
Whatever the solution, you have a contingency plan that took account of the extreme amount of potential losses.
